Disaster Recovery Photos
Well, frankly speaking Disaster Recovery Photos can never be a topic of general interest to anybody. But as a basic human nature and general curiosity Disaster Recovery Photos are also in demand. Your invaluable business papers, journals, photographs, documents and computer disks can sometimes be saved even after prolonged submersion in murky waters such as the Texas floods of 2002. The Division of Emergency Management, Texas Department of Public Safety (DEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) offer recommendations from the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission for recovery of water-damaged belongings. You can see numerous Disaster Recovery Photos at their websites and their offices, if you are interested in them.
There are many good resources for Disaster Recovery Photos for example, Mozambique Photo Library 3: UMCOR's Response, December 2000: These photographs were taken in the Sofala Province, near Beira, Mozambique, an area that experienced catastrophic flooding in January/February 2000. If you reproduce these, please use the credit line provided. On the web, it would be appreciated a link back to UMCOR's Mozambique Floods Recovery page at http://gbgm-umc.org/umcor/emergency/mozambiquefloods.stm . At the right of the small pictures are links to larger versions in either web (low resolution, 72 dpi, 20-50K) or printed media (high resolution, 300 dpi, 400-800K) format.

Water purified by an UMCOR-donated water purification unit is stored in this tank until it can be transported to where it is needed. The purification unit must operate where there is a source of water--in this case a well contaminated by the floods.
